BridgerPay is a payment orchestration platform: a merchant integrates once, and BridgerPay routes each payment to one of more than 1,000 connected payment providers, retries soft declines on another provider and offers several checkout formats. It is run from Limassol, Cyprus, and its own pages name gaming, financial institutions, retail and e-commerce, travel and hospitality, and SaaS as target sectors.

Unlike a pure cashier, which is mainly a hosted deposit and withdrawal page, BridgerPay positions the checkout as one module among routing, 3D Secure, fraud, settlement and reporting tools. Our guides on payment orchestration and cashier vs payment orchestration set out the distinction.

How the platform works

The merchant connects its site, app or back end to BridgerPay and then activates provider accounts it already holds, or ones it opens. The Router page describes three stages: first the merchant picks countries and orders its payment service providers (PSPs) per country, then it sets up checkout flows per payment type, and finally it adds rules that decide when a route applies. Everything is built in a no-code, drag-and-drop interface.

Routing rules can block or redirect by card brand or card BIN, send transactions of certain amounts to chosen PSPs, or spread volume across PSPs to balance cost and performance. Rules can be scoped by PSP, country, brand and BIN. If a provider returns a soft decline, Bridger Retry can resend the attempt to another provider. The company's October 2026 release describes the logic in one line: a decline need not end the transaction if there is somewhere else to send it. Our guide to routing, cascading and retries explains the mechanics in general terms.

Bridger OS is the single dashboard for transactions, reports and payouts. BridgerPay says its infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud, uses TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest, and is audited under PCI DSS Level 1 (security page, accessed 3 November 2026). Its 2025 recap also mentions network tokenisation live with Visa; see network tokenisation explained.

Products

Router and Bridger Retry

Router handles the routing logic described above. In 2025 the company added A/B testing of routing paths, letting a merchant compare two full routes, including fallbacks, on approval rate and cost. Bridger Retry is marketed as recovering 15 to 30 per cent of revenue lost to failed transactions and "up to 30%" of declines. These are vendor claims on the home page, with no methodology published.

Checkouts

The checkout page lists seven formats: Embedded Checkout, Payment Link, Blox (modular components for building a custom checkout), SDK libraries for Android, iOS and web, Token (card storage for one-click payments), MPI (server-side access to orchestration for platforms and marketplaces) and POS. A mixed-payment checkout called Paywith, announced on a page dated 10 August 2026, lets a shopper combine several payment methods in one purchase; the page does not explain how the split works.

Bridger 3DS, Bridger Fraud

Bridger 3DS offers unified 3D Secure authentication and claims up to 10 per cent higher approvals. Bridger Fraud gives automated rules and monitoring. For background see the 3D Secure explainer. The company has not published fraud model details on the pages reviewed.

Settlements and reconciliation

BridgerPay collects settlement files from several PSPs, matches them to its own transaction data, flags mismatches and offers a settlement calendar showing net amounts after commissions and fees. It says monthly closing times can drop by up to 80 per cent, a claim without published method.

Bridger AI

Introduced at the company's Connect Plus event in Tel Aviv on 9 September 2026, Bridger AI is described as a suite of AI agents for routing, fraud detection and optimisation, running on a domain-specific model the company calls Payments LM. The 24 September 2026 post names five agents (Kanji, Alexander, Athena, Amelia and Charlie), while the product page lists a Connections Expert as live and Co Pilot, Auto Pilot, an optimisation expert and a fraud expert as coming soon. The two pages therefore differ in detail. The company reports approval rates up an average of 15 per cent and roughly one in five soft-declined transactions saved by Bridger Retry; these are its own statements dated September 2026.

Developer experience and integrations

BridgerPay links a developer portal and a help centre from its site. We could not open the developer portal or the help-centre developer article during this review, so we cannot describe its API structure, sandbox or webhooks. What the marketing pages state is that a single API covers payments, payouts and reporting, that SDKs exist for Android, iOS and web, and that the MPI route gives server-side access. A May 2022 release lists plug-ins for Magento, WooCommerce, WordPress, PrestaShop and BigCommerce, and a later newsroom post announces a PrestaShop module. The finance page refers to trading operations and prop trading firms, without a forex-specific product description, and the 2025 recap lists XTB among merchant wins (see XTB).

Payment methods, currencies and coverage

The home page claims 1,000+ provider connections and 185+ countries, with a separate "Bridger Connections" search tool where a merchant can filter by country, industry, region and payment type. The finance page cites 30+ currencies, and the 2025 recap mentions an interface in 30+ languages. A full list of payment methods is not published on the pages we opened; the Connections tool returned no results when we loaded it. Wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay are mentioned in the Router page. In Israel, BridgerPay announced on 3 December 2025 a collaboration with Shva, which operates the national debit card system, to connect businesses via Shva's Arena; its 2025 recap says it became a direct Shva member.

Pricing model

BridgerPay publishes no rate card. Its subscription terms say fees are set in a Service Order that the customer receives after checkout. Fees are billed in advance, in euros or US dollars, with invoices due within seven days. The initial term is 12 months and renews automatically for one-year periods unless either side gives 30 days' written notice. Implementation work beyond included support is billed under a separate scope of work. The terms do not say who holds funds or whether merchants settle directly with PSPs; they cover only BridgerPay's own fees. Merchants therefore pay their PSPs' fees separately.

Regulation in brief

BridgerPay's terms of service do not state any licence or financial-regulator supervision, and describe the service as a payment orchestration platform. It reports PCI DSS Level 1 certification, GDPR compliance, and, in its 2025 recap, DORA-aligned infrastructure. Whether a given payment is regulated depends on the PSPs and acquirers behind it. See how to check a financial licence.

Who it tends to suit

BridgerPay may suit merchants that already work with several PSPs and want routing, retries and reconciliation in one dashboard, from online retailers and travel firms to gaming and trading platforms. Teams that prefer to avoid code can use the visual router; developers can use the SDK or MPI. Businesses that need a single contract covering acquiring and settlement should check how the underlying PSPs are contracted. Comparisons are available at Praxis vs BridgerPay and BridgerPay vs Corefy, and a wider set is on the BridgerPay alternatives page. Peers include Praxis, and see the gateways hub.
