Contributor guidelines

Last updated 3 November 2026

Payments30 publishes articles and press releases from people who work in payments. These guidelines explain what we accept, how we edit and label contributed pieces, and the terms you agree to when you submit. Contributing is free.

What we publish

  • Articles that explain a payments topic, share data or first hand experience, or analyse a trend: card acceptance, acquiring, alternative payment methods, open banking, cross border payments, e-money, stablecoin infrastructure, payment regulation.
  • Press releases about your company: product launches, partnerships, licences granted, funding, results and new markets.

Every piece must be at least 250 words, written in English, and original: not published elsewhere first, and not generated in bulk.

What we do not publish

  • Sales copy, superlatives without evidence, or comparisons that name competitors unfairly.
  • Claims about safety, returns or guaranteed results.
  • Content about lawsuits, fines, enforcement or disputes involving other companies.
  • Promotion of unlicensed financial services, consumer gambling, high risk investments or crypto trading.
  • Content that copies other publications, or uses other people's text, images or logos without permission.

Accuracy and sources

State facts with a source. Link the source for every figure, licence or regulatory claim, ideally the official page. If you are unsure, leave it out. We check facts before publishing and may ask you for evidence.

Images

You can add up to two images per submission, each JPEG, PNG or WebP and no larger than 1 MB. Only upload images you own or have permission to use, add a short description and a credit, and do not upload photos of people without their consent.

How we edit and label

Our editors may edit for clarity, length, style and accuracy, ask you for changes, or decline a piece. Published pieces carry a Partner content label with your name and company, and links inside contributed pieces are marked nofollow, as search engine rules require. We aim to review submissions within five working days.

Terms you accept when you submit

  • You confirm the piece and its images are your own work or your company's, and you have the right to publish them.
  • You grant Humainz, Inc., the publisher of Payments30, a worldwide, royalty free licence to edit, publish, translate, archive and promote the piece, including on social media, in newsletters and in other Humainz, Inc. channels. You keep your copyright.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, and you agree that Humainz, Inc. is not liable for contributors' claims or opinions.
  • Payments30 does not pay for contributed pieces and does not accept payment to publish them while the programme is free. Publishing a piece is not an endorsement of your company.
  • You agree to receive the Payments30 newsletter and marketing emails at your Google and company addresses. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
  • We may remove a piece, or close a contributor account, if these guidelines are not followed.

Corrections and removal

To correct or remove a published piece, email corrections@payments30.com. Our corrections policy and privacy policy apply.

These terms were last updated on 3 November 2026 and are a working draft pending legal review.
